We ask that you note the following conditions of service. There may seem to be many of them, but they do reflect our philosophy, and we have learned through experience that we have to clarify, clarify, clarify!

• We provide translation services only to organizations, associations or individuals that are inequivocally opposed to trapping, "sport" hunting and fishing, seal hunting, vivisection, animal experimentation for whatever purpose, factory farming, operation of puppy mills, animal exploitation for fur or to collect their bile or urin through catheters or similar temporarily or permanently-installed device or for any other similar purpose, and to the use of animals in circus, zoos and corridas. However, we accept to provide services to organizations, associations and individuals who work actively to improve conditions of animals raised for food, although we consider that veganism, practised in an informed way, is the long-term solution for both animals and humans.

• We do not translate defamatory documents targetting organisms, associations or individuals working to protect animals and who have adopted either a welfarist or an abolitionnist approach. We think that is is possible to express ideas different from those of other associations, organisms or individuals while remaining respectful of other stakeholders. We definitely favour field actions, personal commitment, promotion of veganism, as well as any action aimed at improving the conditions of animals instead of criticizing other organisms, associations or individuals. We are asking you to refrain from requiring our services if you take part into this sort of display, whether or not this is expressed in the document you wish us to translate for you.

• Please, do not send your volunteer translation request directly to the translators. We cannot overemphasize this point. This statement appears under each translator's address, and violating it will mean our refusing any future volunteer translation request.

• Ensure that if the text you wish to have translated belongs to another organization, it is your responsibility to request the author's permission and confirm for us that you have done so.

• Ensure that the text has not already been translated and that you are not asking us to translate a document back into its original language of creation! We do not perform personalized retranslations of documents for which an adequate translation already exists.

• Documents that we agree to translate for you, but of which you are not the author, remain our property and may be used, at our discretion, by other organizations or other sites. If you are the author, we agree not to transmit them or use them without your permission.

• Once the text has been delivered, you must publish or use it. Our only reward for the hours of work spent is the satisfaction of contributing to animal welfare by putting our skills at your service. We would like to hear from you, see the text published on your site, or receive a copy of your printed document.

• Translations are performed according to priority and on a case-by-case basis. We try to deliver the translated text in a timely manner; however, given the volunteer nature of the translations and the fact that translators and revisers have other professional obligations, there may be a delay in the delivery of texts. For these reasons, we cannot be held responsible for delays in delivery.

• We reserve the right to refuse any translation request, for any reason.

• We will not be held responsible for translation errors, given the many changes and revisions of texts after delivery and additions that do not originate from us. In addition, texts are often sent from one organization to another and changed. We retain the original text in our banks for further consultation.

• In thanks to our translators, we ask that you note that the text has been translated by Kind Translators.
